What Lumo does
Lumo is built for people who keep their own media collection. It does not sell or stream movies or music; it plays the files you own.
Your whole library in one place
Browse files on your device and on your own storage over SMB and WebDAV. Movies and shows get posters and episode details, and music is sorted by artist and album.
Plays almost any video
A dual playback engine switches automatically when a file needs it, so most formats just play. Subtitles, including two at once, are supported.
A real music player
Synced lyrics, a 10-band equalizer, and album and artist views that make a large music collection easy to enjoy.
Cast to your TV
Send videos to a Chromecast or Google TV on your network and keep controlling playback from your phone.
How Lumo uses your Google account
Signing in is optional. Everything else in Lumo works without an account.
- Sync across your devicesWhen you sign in with Google, your playlists, favorites, watch progress and settings sync between your devices.
